so you know i have uber-love for john hughes...
i also adore emma stone. simple conclusion: i looooove easy a.

i know this isn't a new film and it's been on dvd for-evs. but that's too bad, cuz i just love this dang flick. i have it on my dvr and watch it repeatedly. (like just this weekend). funny thing...my step-son almost launched WW III, because he deleted it from the dvr the first time i recorded it. (don't worry, we signed a peace treaty when i found it on dish and recorded it again; a declaration of, 'thou shall not mess with my easy a' was unmistakably understood this go around.)

it never gets old. this is the kind of script or book that i would die to write. it pays wonderful homage to all the john hughes teen flicks, which enamored me when i was an impressionable young chick and that i worship still today.

emma stone is so adorably sardonic and easy on the eyes. her comedic timing is spot on. and i gotta love me some woodchuck/lobster todd--penn badgley--right girls? i was totally screaming at violet, 'uh--hello!--lobster todd is so into you; wake up,girl!'

this movie definitely gets an easy a from me. and who wouldn't have killed to have totally hip, awesome parents like stanley tucci and partricia clarkson.
